Allotments

Alsager Gardens Association manage 4 allotment sites across Alsager, on behalf of Alsager Town
Council. We are responsible for all aspects of the sites, including rentals, management and health and safety.

Allotments are rented on a yearly basis but for 2026 rental will run and be charged for a 9 month period from 1st January 2026 to 30th September 2026. Thereafter rental will be yearly from 01 October  to 30th September each year.

Plots are currently charged at the following rate to RESIDENTS of Alsager* and plot rental fees are reviewed annually. 

Please note we no longer accept applications from non-Alsager residents.

All new tenants are required to pay a £25 deposit.

Full plot – £94 p.a.
Half plot – £47 p.a.
Quarter plot – £23.50 p.a.

A water charge of £2.50 per quarter plot (£10 per full plot) is payable and an annual membership fee of £5.

Sites have a variety of facilities including, toilets, delivery compounds, water and communal beds.
Each site has it’s own site manager, who takes ownership of that site and ensures it stays functioning and a pleasant and safe place to be.

Cedar Avenue

 Located towards the centre of Alsager, the Cedar Avenue site is our largest site and comprised of over 80 plots of various sizes, including accessible raised beds. It is also the location of our  Trading Hut.

Lawton Road

Located off Percy James Close, Lawton Road has around 20 plots including accessible raised beds and secure parking

Talke Road

On the site of the old railway sidings and sheds, Talke Road allotments are in the heart of the Talke Road / Linley estate.

Coronation Avenue

Tucked away between the houses on Coronation Avenue and Cranberry Moss this is our smallest site.
